Copying text from a document is fairly straightforward – just highlight the words, press Ctrl+C to copy, then paste with Ctrl+V. It’s not so easy when you’re dealing with text embedded in an image, scanned document or protected PDF – unless, that is, you’re using Text Grab.
This terrific free tool, which had a major update in November, captures text in images and other files, then immediately copies it to your Windows clipboard, ready for you to paste into a document, email or any other text window. Here we explain how to use it.
