It was serendipity. A shy teenager, I walked into London's original, dusty, dilapidated indoor antiques market, looking for a holiday job. I used to visit Portobello Road market with my father – who grew up there – and was fascinated by the atmosphere and the antiques, the junk, that I saw there. Asking at the first stall I came to in the market, I was told that, actually, Brian and Lynn Holmes, jewellery dealers, were looking for someone to man their tiny booth as they were expanding and taking a second, larger stand. Lisa Vicari owes a lot to Hermione Granger. More specifically, to the outfit that Hermione, played by Emma Watson, is seen wearing in 2004's The Prisoner of Azkaban. “I loved Harry Potter.
