OUR HOBBY HAS come a long way in the last few decades, with a massive increase in the variety of species of fishes and plants, extensive developments in lighting, filtration, heating and the systems needed to support lush growth of corals or aquatic plants. With the rise of the internet, the volume of information, good and bad, available to hobbyists is frankly overwhelming, while social media means we can always see someone else’s amazing project, with which we simply cannot compete.
