When setting up your pretend role play restaurant, you can include props to make it more realistic and fun for children. You could use chef hats, aprons, a pizza paddle, a plastic pizza wheel, mixing bowls, utensils (wooden spoons, rolling pin, whisk etc.), empty salt and pepper shakers, a bell, a toy cash register with play money, clean cardboard pizza boxes, an old telephone (for taking phone orders) etc. You should set up a kitchen area for food preparation and lay a table for customers to dine at.
