Microsoft’s AI tool Copilot will soon be able to remember your name, interests, preferences and past conversations you’ve had with it, and tailor its responses accordingly.
The new feature, called Memory, will also make suggestions of tasks you might like to perform based on your past actions and questions.
It’s among a host of new features for Copilot that Microsoft hopes will tempt users away from rival AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Grok and Claude.
One new tool, called Actions, will perform tasks for you online, such as book tickets, reserve restaurant tables and make purchases.
Another feature, called Vision, will “read” what’s on your screen and let you “change settings, organise files and collaborate on projects without switching between files or apps”.
