New TV-streaming service Freely (www.freely.co.uk) has launched, but only channels from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, plus STV in Scotland and UTV in Northern Ireland, are currently included.
The service, a collaboration between the UK’s main broadcasters, aims to bridge the gap between traditional TV through an aerial and streaming TV over the internet.

You can, however, connect it to both broadband and an aerial. Freely will combine shows from both into a single EPG (Electronic Programme Guide, pictured).
It’s run by Everyone TV, which also manages Freeview and Freesat, and will eventually replace those two services.
