Exxcellent choice
Scissor switch keyboards have flat tile keys that take little effort to press. This one comes in an extended layout, with number pad, in a choice of versions including UK Windows, with pound-sign and double-height Enter key. The function keys are double-labelled with system controls, but there’s no equivalent of the companion software that lets you reassign keys on the Cherry KC6000 Slim (£30 from Amazon www.snipca.com/34991, see our review, Issue 581, page 24), another German scissorswitch model. There’s a pass-through USB 2.0 port at each side, however, which is handy for plugging in a mouse or memory stick (pictured).
