VERDICT
Dual displays make this an intriguing laptop, but usability and battery life need improving
IT’S FINALLY HERE: a laptop with not one, but two UHD touchscreens. Multi-display devices aren’t a new concept, of course, but the ZenBook Pro is the most ambitious one to date.
The primary display is a 15.6in, 3,840x2,160 OLED touchscreen, while the lower display, known as the ScreenPad Plus, is an LCD touchscreen with a distinctly letterbox-shaped resolution of 3,840x1,100. The latter spans the full width of the base, positioned above the keyboard – it’s not a tiny display squeezed into the touchpad, although this can be turned into a number pad on the ZenBook Pro Duo.
