Her designs have been worn by Melissa Etheridge, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Lenny Kravitz, and Fergie (The Black Eyed Peas)—and Cleopatra herself would have proudly worn one of Sherry’s elaborate beaded neckpieces. In her latest video series, Sherry explores how to incorporate found objects into your bead-embroidery projects, use shibori ribbon, connect components, and add edgings and fringe.

Q:What was the inspiration for your recent videos?
A: I simply wanted to share with other beaders who are interested in bead embroidery and are looking for a different approach. Beadwork is the most rewarding art form for me, and I love being able to express myself through it.
