1 On 1 yd. (.9 m) of thread, pick up two 11ºseed beads, a SuperDuo, a 3 mm round crystal, a SuperDuo, two 11ºs, a SuperDuo, a crystal, and a SuperDuo, and tie the beads into a ring with a square knot, leaving a 6-in. (15 cm) tail. Sew through the next two 11ºs and SuperDuo, and continue through the open hole of the same SuperDuo (figure 1, a–b).
2 Pick up an 11º, a 4 mm fire-polished bead, and an 11º, and sew through the open hole of the next SuperDuo (b–c). Pick up an 11º, a 4 mm pearl, and an 11º, and sew through the open hole of the following SuperDuo (c–d). Repeat these two stitches once to complete the round (d–e). Sew through the…
