Use hidden wallpapers and themes
It’s fairly straightforward to set an image as your wallpaper background. Simply right-click the image, then click ‘Set as desktop background’. Alternatively, you can use themes which automatically change your wallpaper at intervals. To do this, right-click anywhere on your desktop, click Personalise, then select the Windows theme you want.
Windows 7 has five hidden countryspecific wallpapers and themes. To access them, open the Start menu, type C:\ Windows\Globalization\MCT into the search bar at the bottom, then press Enter. You’ll see five folders (MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, MCT-US and MCT-ZA, which represent Australia, Canada, Great Britain, United States and South Africa). Each of these contain subfolders.
