Alienware doesn’t deal in cheap laptops, but the Aurora range makes Dell’s prestige gaming brand a little more affordable. The designs are as eye-catching and robust as ever, with the 16X Aurora reviewed here wrapped in a refined aluminium chassis finished in a deep blue ‘Interstellar Indigo’ colour, with a luminous Alienware logo on the lid (pictured below).
There’s no shortage of connectivity options, with two USB-A ports, Ethernet and HDMI 2.1 ports, a fast USB-C port (with 10Gbps transfer speeds), and an even faster Thunderbolt 4 port. It’s big and heavy, like most high-performance gaming laptops, but also great for everyday use.
