Officially, Windows 11 has some fairly demanding requirements. We say ‘officially’ because, as some readers have discovered (see Star Letter, Issue 624, page 13), it’s possible to install Microsoft’s latest operating system on machines that, technically, shouldn’t be able to run it.
By ‘technically’, we mean computers that have failed Microsoft’s PC Health Check app test. You can launch the test by clicking Start, typing health and clicking ‘PC Health Check’. If it isn’t there, you can get it from www.snipca.com/40760 (the download starts automatically). Simply click the blue ‘Check now’ button (see screenshot below) to run the test.
