A TRAINED commercial pilot and consultant at SAA, Phuthego Mojapele, is at loggerheads with his former business partner and former SABC news producer, Samuel Nakedi.
At the centre of the dispute is a deal allegedly worth over R300 million from Bakgatla Ba Kgafela.
The dispute played itself out in the South Gauteng High Court, in Jozi, after Nakedi demanded Mojapele pay him half of what they made to establish a TV academy awarded to their company by the North West-based traditional authority.
The case has now laid bare numerous payments made to Nakedi, an employee of Bakgatla Ba Kgafela’s investment arm, BBKSIC amounting to R1,5m in cash transfers by the service provider.
